really?...when exactly did you tell anyone their votes would be weighted?..
das right, AFTER you decided to do it.

it NEVER said that at the online G'news voting site and
you NEVER mentioned this new rule to anyone before they cast votes on line.

i listened to you at the track on your PA System telling people to go and vote online..
NOT once did i hear you tell anyone there votes would NOT be a "fully" counted vote and would be Lessened by your "weighing" their votes down by a fractional multiplier..

after the fact seems to be the key here...

maybe you could let everyone know this PRIOR to participating?
tell them what you intend to do with their efforts later??

in the finally tally, all OUR votes meant less...YOU made it that way, NOT the fans.
yet you continue to find blame elsewhere...

you come here and ask someone to find a better way...
why?...
if you openly admit to doctoring the deal after it's over, why would anyone think you won't doctor any new methods.??

every thought i have about FFD voting and it's outcome is based on your Open statements and your actions regarding FANS votes, right here in the open...

so please forget trying to turn it around and blame somebody else for your actions and decisions..

thanx,

bud
Hey Bud... they could weigh the 32 car (Randys) it came up lite hahaha!!!

GPS Admin, can you go head and post next years winner so that they can use that to help get potential sponsorship for next year? You said drivers need all the help they can get with sponsors and I bet that would be a deal maker for some deserving driver. I might would throw some sponsor dollars to a driver that was fans favorite.

it's there...
name first
votes below with % of total next to it..
then for some secret reason you gotta muliply that X's
somebodys fractional scale...

so if 1 of those votes was your it's didn't count as a vote..?

somethin' like that....maybe...sorta...kinda..
who knows....

i, and everyone else, has been invited to ignore this mysterious FFD game in the future.....

that tells me to ALSO IGNORE the Greenville News promotion....and i will do that as well....
actually, in my opinion, if my FAN vote is nothing then so is the award...just the way it is.

so next season i will not vote ANYWHERE knowing full well it will be "doctored" by the "powers that be"..

i will go to each of my picks and congratulate them Personally for their efforts and invent my own damm awards..

maybe a quart of oil with a nascar flag made in china taped to the top...

good luck to AA in 2010...

bud

I agree. I also think the fans fav should be announced at the last race of the season, since not all fans can attend the banquet.
